The Online Reformation

It’s not exactly Guttenberg’s press, but the change – the shift in society, even – is as significant.

My name’s Tyler Gingrich.  I’m a Lutheran pastor serving in Kelowna, BC.  The community I serve is taking its community to the virtual world (at least in part) through online connections such as this blog.  Check us out at

The thing with the internet is that no one is limited by pen and paper, and information is at peoples’ fingertips like it never was before.  This empowers, emboldens, and – I suppose – emancipates (okay, I was looking for another “em-” word).  People are freed when information is available and when decisions can be made for one’s-self.

I hope that this blog will be a place where people can engage ideas about values and life – what we believe, and then what we live.  I hope that people will consider connecting with All Saints, either virtually or in person when possible.  I hope that there is new thinking that can be shared, so do comment and be open to comments made!
